Vydehi Institute Of Physiotherapy – Eligibility Criteria

Vydehi Institute of Physiotherapy is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka. The candidate seeking admission in the BPT course must qualify the eligibility criteria given by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

KCET (only for local candidates looking for Govt seats). Counselling is done by KEA. Outside Karnataka students cannot opt for Govt quota seats.

Course Name Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) 
  • The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized Board or Institute.
  • The candidate must have completed a minimum 17 years of age as of 31st December during the year of admission into the college for physiotherapy.
  • For SC/ST candidates belonging to Karnataka, the minimum percentage of marks is 45% in the qualifying subjects.
  • The candidates must submit the Medical Fitness Certificate that was issued by an authorized government medical officer.
