Course

Eligibility

B.Sc. Nursing

The aspirant must have did schooling in the 10 + 2 pattern or any equivalent board of education, with PCB subjects and English mandatory. The minimum aggregate mark is 45% for general students and 40% in case of Karnataka SCs, STs, and OBC’s.

M.Sc. Nursing

The student should have completed B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or Post Graduate Certificate in B.Sc Nursing recognised by RGUHS, with a minimum aggregate of 55% for general and 50% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) to pursue the course.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Nursing (Basic)

Other eligibility criteria for the interested students to apply for the 4-years B.Sc. Nursing course are as follows:

  • The student must have completed 17 years, as on 31st December in the year of applying into the Oxford College of Nursing.
  • The candidate must not be above the age of 30 years at the time of admission

Eligibility Criteria for M.Sc Nursing

Other eligibility criteria for the interested students to apply for the 2-years M.Sc. Nursing course are as follows:

  • The student must hold a minimum of one-year work experience, either from a hospital or any Nursing Educational Institution under the INC board.
  • The candidate must be identified as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife in any State Nursing Council.
  • The student must be medically fit as per the norms of the school of nursing.

Eligibility Criteria for P.C. B.Sc Nursing (Post Certificate B.Sc Nursing)

  • The candidate must be registered with the State Nursing Council as a registered midwife and registered nurse.
  • Working Knowledge in English, good professional and personal record, with a Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery.
