About the Admission Procedure:

The admission process at the Oxford College of Nursing Bangalore, is based on the guidelines of RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka). Priority is given for students based on their merit level. Candidates from economically and socially backward groups of the society can avail scholarship for their nursing education at the Oxford College of Nursing Bangalore.

The admission process to book a seat into the Oxford College of Nursing Bangalore is normed as per the official criteria guidelines of RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka). The annual intake for each course is 60 seats for UG and 40 seats for PG per year. Moreover, admission for all nursing sciences here at the Oxford College of Nursing Bangalore is based on the merit score of students.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Nursing

For undergraduate courses, students must have completed their 12th standard or PUC or any other equivalent examination with 45% aggregate minimum. They are also expected to be medically fit for education. And for postgraduate studies, the candidate must have passed BSc. Nursing with a minimum score of 55% and should have been licensed at the State Nursing Council as a deemed Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.

The seat allocation for the B.Sc. Nursing course is given below. In the total intake of 60 students, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota. Remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission Procedure for M.Sc Nursing

Candidates must pass Basic B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or equivalent examinations from a recognized institute or university to become eligible for pursuing this course.

Seat Allotments - In Percentage

The seat allocation for the M.Sc. Nursing course is given below. In the total intake of 40 seats, each specialization has 8 seats. In M.Sc Nursing, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota. Remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission Procedure for B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic)

The aspiring candidate must have passed Diploma Nursing or GNM after the 10+2 or equivalent exam. He/She must be a registered nurse and should be registered himself/herself with any state nursing registration council.
