Many competent and ethically driven Indian lawyers are alumni of SJCL.
LL.B, BA LLB, BBA LLB, and BCom LLB are the 4 prime degrees offered at SJCL. LL.B runs for 3 years, while the remaining courses are 5 years integrated degrees. The fee ranges between INR 95,000 to INR 12,00,000 accordingly. Internships are compulsory for the successful completion of the course modules.
The candidates for St. Joseph’s College of Law are picked only on a merit basis and their overall score in entrance tests. Aspects that the management looks into are the student’s UG degree, subjects pursued, marks obtained in 12th + UG, and the background they come from. Because SJCL provides some relaxation to the weaker sections of the society.

There are 10+ clubs formed for both academic and extracurricular events. Also, there is no official dress code. Students are expected only to dress modestly.
SJCL’s scholarships and fee relaxations are purely based on the social and financial status of a student and are further subjected to the norms of the Karnataka government.
