ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences eligibility criterion must be compulsorily satisfied to get admission into the institute. Here are the criteria norms on Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences eligibility (based on the affiliation guidelines from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

For admission to the courses, aspirants need to follow the standard admission process involving KCET/ NEET rank and counselling sessions conducted by KEA. The admission for the course is also done through private quota(COMEDK), management quota and NRI Quota.

MBBS

The candidate seeking admission must have completed at least PUC or 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. The minimum score required is 50% marks in the examination.

He/She must have a score valid marks in NEET UG Exam

For students from the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, and Category-1, the minimum admission score required would be 40% instead of 50% for general students.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Course

Other eligibility criteria to apply for MBBS in Shridevi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research are:

  • An intermediate test (i.e. any qualifying examination) in Science from an Indian University or Board or some recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. This is also inclusive of a practical test and English as a compulsory subject.
  • 1st year of the 3 years degree course from a recognized University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and also includes a practical test in the given subjects, provided that the exam is a 'University Examination'.
  • Pursued B.Sc. examination from a certified University of India, provided that the student has successfully passed the same with not lower than 2 of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology plus English.
  • Any other entrance examination that is into the scope and standards of equivalence to the intermediate science exam of any Board or Indian University, with the Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects added with the practical test for each subject and English.
