RV College of Architecture Admission 2024-25

RV College of Architecture is one of the top-ranked architecture colleges in Bangalore is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University(VTU). This college was established in 1992 and offers high standard education for aspiring students wishing to learn architecture courses. The aspirants who wishes to pursue an Architecture degree in this college can get admission either under government quota or private quota or management quota for the UG Course. For PG Course, PGCET is the government exam conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Interested students can also obtain admission to both UG and PG Courses in this prestigious architecture school through the Management Quota. The admission process that the college abides by is based on the rules and regulations of VTU.

Admission Procedure for B.Arch

RV College of Architecture Bangalore offers admission in B.Arch to students who meet the eligibility criteria and secure valid marks in the entrance exam. The students can get admission under government quota or private or management quota. The total number of seats for the B.Arch UG Course is 120.

In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission under Government Quota is done the marks scored in KCET followed by the counselling by KEA

Admission under Private Quota can be obtained through COMEDK(Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka). NATA Score is considered to get admission under this quota

Admission Procedure for M.Arch

Students need to meet the eligibility criteria and secure valid marks in the entrance exam for applying for M.Arch admission. The aspirant can pursue a Master in Architecture degree program by getting admission under government quota or college management quota.

The seat allocation for the M.Arch course is categorized into two main types. One is government quota and another one is management quota. The total intake for the M.Arch degree course is 20 students. In this 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

Admission under the Government Quota is based on the PGCET Exam Score followed by the counselling through KEA. The aspiring candidates with GATE score can directly apply for the counselling.

For admission under management quota, the candidate must have passed either PGCET/GATE Examination.
