NMIT fills 45% of the seats through the Nitte Meenakshi Institute Of Technology entrance exam KCET, 30% through the COMEDK UGET, and 25% by merit. Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent. They must also have passed English as one of their languages. In addition, they must have obtained a 45 per cent aggregate mark in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
