M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology was established in the year 1962. This institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology admission procedure depends on the course and the quota. There are Merit and Management quota available in M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology. Whether the student wants to join in management quota or Merit quota, he/she should meet the eligibility criteria and submit all the documents for admission.
MSRIT offers 12 engineering courses and Architecture Course. To apply for admission in B.E and B.Arch courses under the management quota, students need to meet the eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible for B.E admission, the students should have appeared for common entrance examinations such as JEE, COMEDK OR KCET. For B.Arch, the candidate must have appeared for the NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. The seat allocation for both B.E & B.Arch courses is given below. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

MSRIT offers 12 M.Tech programs that correspond to 8 departments. Graduates who wish to apply for M.Tech admission here under the management quota should have passed B.E/B.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects. The students should have appeared for PGCET/GATE Exam.
For MCA admission at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology, graduates should fulfil the eligibility criteria. Also, they should have cleared KMAT or PGCET. For MBA Admission, the aspirant must meet the eligibility criteria and should have cleared PGCET or KMAT or CMAT or MAT.
The seat allocation for the M.Tech, MBA MCA courses is given below. In the total seats, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.
