Admission for students in M.S Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research is offered through both Management and Government Quota.This college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, and offers some of the best courses for nursing studies. Students must have appeared for the CET Exam to get admission under the management quota as well. The total number of seats for the B.Sc Nursing Course is 60.
The seat allocation for the B.Sc. Nursing course is given below. In the total intake of 60 students, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota. Remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.

This a two-year course at MSRINER. The aspiring candidate must have passed Diploma Nursing or GNM after the 10+2 or equivalent exam. He/She must be a registered nurse and should be registered himself/herself with any state nursing registration council. For students from other countries, the eligibility is that he/she should be a registered nurse recognized by the nursing council of their country. The total number of seats for the B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) Course is 30.

Candidates must pass Basic B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or equivalent examinations from a recognized institute or university to become eligible for pursuing this course. After obtaining Basic B.Sc Nursing Degree certificate, a nursing aspirant must gain at last one year of work experience in a hospital or a Nursing educational institution before applying for M.Sc Nursing in Vydehi Institute of Nursing Sciences.
