BMS Institute of Technology and Management is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore which is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. BMSIT direct admission is offered in various UG and PG courses to develop engineering professionals who have technical proficiency and industrial expertise. Students who meet the eligibility criteria for their preferred course can either get BMS Institute of Technology direct admission or through management quota. Just like other private colleges, BMSIT admission procedure depends on the course of BMS Institute of Technology and management cut off. Admission through management quota and Direct admission in BMS Institute of Technology is similar in terms of application and document submission. However, the fees will be different for both.
The notification about BMSIT admission and the application forms for the academic session is released during the month of June/ July. The application form can be filled both Online and Offline.
BMS Institute of Technology and Management offers 8 engineering courses. To apply for admission in B.E under the management quota, students need to meet the eligibility criteria. In order to be eligible for admission, the students should have appeared for common entrance examinations such as KCET, COMEDK or JEE. The seat allocation for the B.E courses is given below. In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota.

BMSITM offers 2 M.Tech programs. Graduates who wish to apply for M.Tech admission here under the management quota should have passed B.E/B.Tech with an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all subjects. The students should have appeared for PGCET/GATE Exam.
For MCA admission at BMS Institute of Technology and Management, graduates should fulfill the eligibility criteria. Also, they should have cleared KMAT or PGCET.
The seat allocation for the M.Tech and MCA courses is given below. In the total seats, 20% of the seats are reserved for the government quota and the remaining 80% of seats are filled under the management quota.
